A transparent, accessible and independent complaints procedure, from direct contact with us to an independent disputes committee.

  1. Talk to us first

    Email your complaint to info@247dermatologist.com. We confirm receipt within five working days, and within six weeks at most you receive a written response with our reasoning.

  2. Independent complaints officer

    Can't resolve it with us, or would you rather talk to an independent party? Our complaints officer listens, explains your rights and helps you find a solution, free of charge.

  3. Disputes committee

    Still not satisfied after your complaint has been handled? You can then submit the dispute to a recognised independent disputes committee, which can issue a binding decision.

At 247dermatologist we strive to provide high-quality, accessible dermatological care. Should you nevertheless be dissatisfied, we offer a transparent, accessible and independent complaints procedure, in accordance with the Dutch Healthcare Quality, Complaints and Disputes Act (Wkkgz).

Step 1

Direct contact with 247dermatologist

You can submit your complaint by email: info@247dermatologist.com.

Please include in your message at least

  • your name and date of birth;
  • (where applicable) the consult number or the date of the consult;
  • a clear description of your complaint;
  • what you would like to achieve with your complaint.

After receipt

  • we confirm your complaint within five working days;
  • you receive, within six weeks at most, a written response with reasons, setting out our judgement on your complaint, any measures we will take and the timeframe within which they will be carried out.

If more time is needed (for example because further investigation is required), we may extend this period once by no more than four weeks; we will inform you of this in writing.

Step 2

Independent complaints officer

If you would rather discuss your complaint with an independent party, or if we cannot resolve it together, you can turn to our independent complaints officer.

  • is independent and impartial;
  • listens to your story;
  • explains your rights and options;
  • helps you, if you wish, to formulate the complaint;
  • works with you and 247dermatologist to try to reach a solution.

The support provided by the complaints officer is free of charge.

Step 3

Disputes committee

If you are still not satisfied after your complaint has been handled, you can submit the dispute to a recognised independent disputes committee with which 247dermatologist is affiliated.

Free of charge

Submitting and handling a complaint with 247dermatologist, and the support provided by the complaints officer, are free of charge.

Confidentiality

Your complaint and all associated data are handled confidentially, in accordance with the GDPR, the WGBO and medical confidentiality.

Due care and hearing both sides

  • Complaints are investigated carefully.
  • Both you and the healthcare providers involved are given the opportunity to explain their own point of view.
  • We aim for a solution that does justice both to your interests and to the quality and safety of care.
